As all our belts tighten and the economy frightens us into cutting back and scrimping Trifle Gathering hit the road with their Charity Shop Christmas Cabaret. The South West’s leading exponents of delirious wit call on the farthest reaches of their second hand imagination and proudly present a hilarious tour through the untouched world of the charity shop galaxy.
Elspeth Garters unique charity shop is a welcoming world of rummaging and romance, jumble and joy and where quaint meets quirky. You’ll fall in love with her peculiar volunteers as they assist you though a nostalgic evening of games, cabaret acts and live music.
A boisterous hodgepodge of entertainment emerges through film, comedy, dance and song. Come and enter yourself into a world of raffles, auctions, bingo and talent competitions your sure to be going home with a bizarre treasure to pass on as a Christmas treat or give back to Charity!

The Top Secret Secret Society Club Presents Hedluv & Passsman
Join Redruth’s newest club night on Saturday 29th November as the Top Secret Secret Society returns for its monthly outing at the Melting Pot.
The Top Secret Secret Society slunk onto the scene in August with a top class reggae night complete with Caribbean food and booty shaking dance hall tunes and will continue to pound the boards on the last Saturday of every month. Last month Top Secret friends DJ Rephlex Records & Tony Simos got Funky as they span some most excellent Funk, Soul & Rare Grooves back to back in this intimate venue tucked away on the edge of Redruth.
This month the top secret seret society club is pleased to present some real homegrown Redruth Talent in the form of the sublime Hedluv & Passman Tasty food is served until 9pm and with a plate piled high for less than a fiver it’s got to be better than staying in and doing the washing up! Tickets cost £3 in advance or £4 on the door and are available over the counter at the Melting Pot or by calling Ben on or 07915 252757. Regular attendance to the club will get you into the inner sanctum and give you a further discount so keep on coming! Jam Night/Open Music Session Hosted by Local singer songwriter Rob Long at the melting pot every first Wednesday monthly. Open From 7pm food available until 9pm. Bring your instrument or voice and join this chilled evening of music.
